(The 3rd edition of the book was initially published by Addison-Wesley in 1998, ISBN: 0-201-82054-4. There are also overseas editions with different ISBN numbers in existence. Pearson Education purchased the rights to the book in 1999, then discontinued printing it in 2005 and passed the copyright back to the authors. Franklin and Powell formed Ellis-Kagle Press which is now publishing the book. All authorized printing of the book starting in 2006 has been done by Ellis-Kagle Press.)
